SA coating

The SA coating is a coating developed for milling cutter applications. It is used for processing steel parts, castings, and stainless steel. Generally, the hardness of the processed materials is less than 52 HRC. The coating has high hardness and a low friction coefficient. It is particularly suitable for cutting stainless steel, has reliability and a long tool service life, and is widely used in the 3C industry and has been unanimously recognized by many customers.

The SA coating has excellent properties such as high wear resistance, high oxidation resistance temperature, low friction coefficient, excellent thermal stability and low cutting resistance. The SDC coating is processed by magnetron sputtering/PECVD.
