The SA coating is a coating developed for milling cutter applications. It is used for processing steel parts, castings, and stainless steel. Generally, the hardness of the processed materials is less than 52 HRC. The coating has high hardness and a low friction coefficient. The SP coating is a coating specifically developed for processing high-hardness materials. It has extremely high hardness and high oxidation resistance at high temperatures. At the same time, it is suitable for high-speed and high-hardness cutting. Generally, the hardness of the processed materials is greater than 52 HRC. For some difficult-to-machine materials, super-hard alloys, and high-temperature alloys during cutting, higher cutting speeds can be achieved and it has a reliable service life.

The SDC coating is processed by magnetron sputtering/PECVD.
